Product Warranty

This Product Warranty (the "Warranty") is provided by Go Clad Australia, the Exclusive Australian Manufacturer and Distributor of SmartStone Systems Limited products designed for the purpose of cladding homes and buildings, including EcoSmart Stone, TechStone, and Le'Ceramica (collectively, the "Products").

Warranty Coverage

Go Clad warrants that the Products, when purchased for their intended purpose and installed by qualified and/or licensed professionals in accordance with relevant standards, guidelines, and recommendations, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase (the "Warranty Period").

Limited Liability

Go Clad's liability arising from the supply or use of any SmartStone Systems product is limited to the manufacturing and distribution of materials only, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

 

Indemnification

The Company is not liable for any damage caused or loss suffered by third parties arising directly or indirectly from the Products supplied or their installation. The Purchaser must keep the Company fully indemnified against any such damage or loss.

Warranty Exclusions

This Warranty includes all backing materials, brackets, returns, custom extrusions, fittings, and fixtures, but specifically excludes Natural Stone facing materials. The performance and appearance retention of Natural or Recomposed Stone facing components depend on their installation, fixing, sealing, and maintenance. This Warranty does not cover natural weathering, natural wear and tear, or damage caused by natural or man-made accidents or disasters. Any warranty claim is voided by movement or damage to the foundations, substrate, or structure upon which the Product is installed.

Warranty Claims

To make a claim for faulty Products and materials, the Purchaser must provide a copy of the receipt for goods and/or installation, along with details of the tradesperson or company who performed the installation works. Go Clad reserves the right to inspect any applications or projects that are the subject of the claim. After inspection and confirmation of material or fixing defects, Go Clad will provide replacement materials and/or fixings subject to availability and production and shipping lead times.

General

This Warranty is in addition to any other rights or remedies available to the Purchaser under the law. It is not transferable or assignable by the Purchaser. This Warranty constitutes the entire agreement between the Purchaser and Go Clad with respect to the Products, superseding all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral, written, or electronic. This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes arising under or in connection with this Warranty shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
